Teens in AI partnered with ACS International Schools to deliver a 12-week learning experience designed to introduce students to artificial intelligence in a way that was practical, responsible, and relevant.
Built to go beyond the standard curriculum, the programme gave students the chance to explore AI foundations, machine learning, data analysis, and ethics through expert-led sessions and team-based challenge work. By connecting technical learning to real-world issues, the partnership helped students build confidence, think critically, and see how emerging technologies can be used with purpose.
The programme was designed to move students from introduction to application, combining technical learning with collaboration, ethics, and problem-solving.
Students took part in expert-led sessions covering AI, machine learning, data analysis, and ethics, giving them a strong foundation in the technologies shaping the future.
Working in teams, students applied what they had learned through an extended hackathon-style experience that encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
Students developed solutions linked to real-world challenges and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, strengthening both their technical understanding and their ability to use technology with purpose.
“In programmes like this, we say we want you to dig deep, get skilled, and go beyond. Each of you has really gone beyond in this programme. You are role models for us.”
This partnership was designed to give students a richer, more applied introduction to artificial intelligence than they would typically experience through the standard curriculum alone.
Across twelve weeks, students explored key technical concepts, worked with mentors, and developed ideas in response to real-world challenges. The format combined subject knowledge with collaboration, ethics, and problem-solving, creating a learning experience that supported both technical growth and broader future-ready skills.
Ideal for schools looking to extend classroom learning with practical AI education, expert input, and project-based student engagement.
Through this partnership, students gained access to learning experiences that combined technical depth with real-world relevance. The programme created space for students to explore emerging technologies in a way that was hands-on, collaborative, and connected to global challenges.
It also helped students build confidence in their own ideas, strengthen teamwork and communication skills, and develop a clearer sense of how AI can be used responsibly and creatively.
