Teens in AI partnered with Nord Anglia School and GITEX Global to deliver a first-of-its-kind programme designed to inspire young people across the UAE to explore artificial intelligence and technology in practical, meaningful ways.
The programme brought students together through a cross-school hackathon experience that combined technical learning, responsible innovation, and real-world problem-solving. Culminating in a Demo Day at AI Everything x GITEX, the partnership created an exciting platform for students to build confidence, develop future-ready skills, and engage with the country’s wider ambition to become a leader in AI.
The programme was designed to move students from introduction to application, combining technical learning, teamwork, and public presentation.
Students and teachers were introduced to the core principles of AI ethics, design thinking, coding, and business through structured training designed to make emerging technology more accessible and relevant.
Following an initial pilot, the programme expanded into a five-week cross-school hackathon where students worked in teams, developed ideas, and applied their learning to real challenges.
The final stage brought participants together for mentor sessions, talks, and workshops before culminating in a Demo Day at AI Everything x GITEX, where students presented their projects in a major regional setting.
