Teens in AI announces launch of its global initiative, Teens in Action Forum
London, UK – 19 July 2023 – Teens in AI, a social impact-driven initiative that inspires teens to explore a future in tech and AI through collaborative, hands-on learning experiences, is delighted to announce the launch of Teens in Action, a virtual Forum where teenagers aged 12 to 18 can come together on a monthly basis to learn, connect with global speakers and be empowered to make a difference using solution-focused AI. This initiative further harnesses technology to create a fair world where everyone has equal opportunity to maximise their potential.
We invite teenagers from all backgrounds around the world to join in on engaging discussions, using the full scope of AI’s potential in tackling local and global challenges. By joining us, they will connect and collaborate with like-minded peers, and receive invaluable advice and guidance from industry experts.
Teens in AI Founder and CEO, Elena Sinel, comments: “We are excited to announce the launch of our Teens in Action Forum initiative, a platform for teens and industry experts to connect and share their ideas and solutions towards a better, safer world. We are looking forward to the questions, curiosity, and innovative ideas that will set the stage for a deep dive into the potential of AI in the fight against world issues.”
In our inaugural session, we have the privilege of learning from Sherif Elsayed-Ali, the co-founder of Carbon Re, an exceptional thought leader in this space, who will guide us through the complexities of AI’s role in combating climate change. In this session, we are expecting Participants from Kazakhstan, UK, Egypt, Italy, Kenya and Bulgaria, with more countries standing by on our wait list.
Spear-headed by Teens in AI’s Project Manager and thought leader, Alanna Windrim who added: “Teens in Action is about giving youth a platform to interact, learn and contribute to vital conversations on technology and its potential for global good – from medical breakthroughs to the environment and climate change. But it’s not just about the technology, it’s about empowering our future generations to use that technology for the betterment of our world. At Teens in AI, we’ve all worked hard to bring this initiative to life and I am deeply grateful to see so many young, aspiring minds joining us on this journey.”
