Teens in AI recognises that risk management is a vital part of ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all participants, staff, and volunteers. We are committed to conducting thorough risk assessments for all activities, both online and in-person.
This policy applies to all activities, including:
Identify Hazards: Consider physical, environmental, digital, and safeguarding hazards.
Evaluate Risks: Assess likelihood and impact (low/medium/high).
Control Measures: Put in place appropriate measures (eg, supervision ratios, DBS checks, secure online platforms, venue checks).
Record Findings: Document the assessment using a standard risk assessment template.
Implement Actions: Ensure all staff and volunteers understand required controls.
Review and Update: Reassess risks regularly and after any incident or significant change.
