Elena Sinel Joins UNESCO Campus Panel on AI in Our Daily Lives
Teens in AI’s Founder and CEO, Elena Sinel, was invited by UNESCO to join a virtual UNESCO Campus titled “AI in My Pocket: Understand, Explore, Act”, bringing together 200 English-speaking students to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the way we live and interact with technology.
AI is often invisible yet omnipresent, woven into the simplest of gestures we perform on our smartphones. But what do we really know about what it does, the data it collects, and the ways it influences us?
Format: Virtual Panel for UNESCO Campus
Theme: “AI in My Pocket: Understand, Explore, Act”
Date: 16 September 2025
Segment topic: “The invisible AI: What we use every day without even realising it.”
To help unpack these critical questions, Elena joined the panel to speak on the opening theme: “The invisible AI: What we use every day without even realising it.”
She shared her expertise on both the benefits and challenges of AI, encouraging students to reflect on the role of technology in their lives and to develop the critical thinking skills needed to engage responsibly with these tools. Her insights provided valuable perspectives that inspired young people to look beyond the surface of convenience and question how AI impacts society and their future.
At Teens in AI, we are proud to see our mission of equipping the next generation with the knowledge to navigate AI reflected on such a global stage.
